MechaPwn created by MechaResearched led by balika001 on GitHub have created a tool that will install a debug PS2 model on your retail PS2. It will require FreeMCBoot, FreeDVDBoot, OpenTuna, etc... to launch uLaunchELF or wLaunchELF, then load the MechaPwn.elf file, make a nvm.bin backup and store it elsewhere, then continue MechaPwn installation on PS2 models SCPH-50000X or higher.
