i mostly used to play the xbox 360 demo of sonic adventure 1 and 2 but ive never really grown up with the dreamcast version

i think i bought the dreamcast when i was prrrroooobaaablyy..16 years old (same year as my 17th birthday so it was in 2022)as it was the year that i left secondary school (though at the time i was close to leaving so it was like a month before i left school i got the dreamcast)

despite winging all of school, towards the end i was just burnt out with everything and everyone so i ended up being like "fuck everyone and everything" so i didnt really try with anything at the end because i had enough of it all

so i was kindve at a low point in my life as i still was grieving the loss of my childhood cat and i got incredibly numb and lonely from his death as i was extremely close and he was the first friend ive ever had so i remember when i was 16 i got the dreamcast to try to drown my depression

ever since i got the dreamcast i was obsessed over it and whenever i play it its like the pain and numbness goes away
