Playing Nu is so much fun!
3It's so fun that I have no defensive options at all. It's just amazing. I love blocking, don't you. Having to rely on the opponent jumping to get a lucky Anti air is just great. Not having any mix up at all is just great. I'm so glad that my main only ever gets the opportunity to do 1 of like 2 combos. It's also amazing that my damage out put is horrible. While others can get like 5K off of their optimal combos, I can only do like 4K off of an unoptimal combo that I'll never get the chance to do. I'm so glad that Calamity Sword got nerfed, you know. Nu's ONLY DP. But who needs DPs am I right? I'm also so glad they nerfed the backwards Act Parcer. You know, that evasive move that let Nu get distance. I'm so glad Nu is a piece of shit character now who can barely take on a few characters now. At least when Makoto was bottom tier, she could still get some stuff done. She was an honest character. I'd seen plenty of people do great with Makoto in CP vanilla and 1.1. But now they took Nu, tied her up, and beat the shit out of her till she's not even worth using. You know the ending cutscene to this game? Yeah, there's Nu now.
Ok. For real, in a world where I'm a perfect Nu player. I wouldn't be having nearly the amount of problems that I do. I've seen Yoshiki(?) do some great stuff with Nu. But this isn't that world. Nu takes way more effort than she should in this game. You have no close up mix up, no damage, no defense, no health, no nothing. You have to take guesses 95% of the time and if you miss that guess, you have to either block, get hit, or try to backdash. All of which suck. If you get put in the corner you may as well quit because if you're fighting any pressure heavy character, you are not getting out of that corner unless you get lucky with an Anti Air or waste resources on Counter Assault or Exceed Accel. I think I'm just going to pick Kokopuffs back up. At least she's fun to play... I just want to have fun playing my favorite characters. But I guess that is just not going to happen. Ugh.
