To close out our look at PPC games, I thought it would be fun to try some Dosbox games, as they need a hefty CPU and push the system to its limits. I'm sure most EGA games work fine at full speed, but I had to try some VGA games, to see what can be done with a little more horsepower.

First an apology. For some reason the audio didnt record on these videos, so instead I put some music in from the original Doom. Then at least the footage isn't all silent. The music was a bit low and stuttery sometimes, so not much lost. I've been having some major issues with my sound system recently, so apologies if this video seems a bit too loud?

It seemed there was a bottle neck somewhere, as my PC CPU was hardly touched by the emulation, so it must be with the Dosbox software itself somehow. I probably had JIT switched on, so your results on a real Amiga may vary. It was a neat experiment but I dont think I'll be doing this again.
