The following is footage of Sierra Championship Boxing, developed by Evrywere in 1985. This particular session shows off the game in Simulation mode, with two custom boxers -- specifically, this particular session attempts to simulate the Mayweather/Pacquiao fight that took place May 2nd, 2015. The game also supports a Strategy mode, where you play the corner man giving your boxer advice between rounds; finally, the game supports an Arcade mode, where you directly control your fighter.

This game was released twice, first as a "booter" (a bootable disk without a filesystem) and later as a DOS-compatible disk. This footage is of the bootable disk version.

This footage was recorded from an IBM PC (8088 CPU running at 4.77MHz) with a ("new-style") CGA card. The audio was tapped from the PC speaker and the video was recorded from the CGA composite output. The result was post-processed from 30i to 60p; all source frames are intact. This video can be considered a reference for how this game performs on this platform.

Personal notes: At the start of the simulated fight, Pacquiao was a 7-to-4 favorite to win. I attempted to create both boxers based on their stats right before their real-life fight, but it's possible I got a few things wrong (such as their preferred punch and their strengths/weaknesses). Feel free to correct me in the comments.

While this fight is incredibly boring to watch, I've been told the real-life fight was not much better.
