Playing The Train Game | Super Loco World (Cozy Train Automation)
Super Loco World is a nice chilled out game where we get to play with trains! Yay for train tracks!
The idea of the game is to build a settlement on an abandoned island to act as our new capital city and then build industrial areas to generate goods, with the city and the industrial areas connected by trains!
Our first resource is good old simple flour which is produced by a nice little area with wheat fields and a windmill and grain stores. We then build our train network, which needs to incorporate the ability for the trains to turn around because in this game the trains don't just magically flip themselves around on the tracks when they need to.
Initially this isn't too bad but when we add a whole new area to provide planks to our city it becomes quite complicated. We need special switches which we need to program with logic to change the points on the track depending on what train is going by.
There's also refuelling, which needs logic, and even the gathering of resources can be tweaked with logic to make sure we're gathering as much as possible of a particular resource before leaving the station.
Then we get iron and we end up with archways that determine the speed of the trains, more switches to control the train traffic and different train carriages to move different resources around on the same train!

Welcome to Super Loco World! As the freshly-minted transport tycoon around these parts, you’ll need to build up a rail network, manage train traffic, and keep the goods flowing to meet the growing demands of an ever-evolving world!
Embrace automation🚦
Your trains need more than just a route from you! Control their speeds carefully, manage rail junctions, and eventually automate the process using some very handy rail signals, including:
Signposts to direct trains carrying different goods in different directions.
Logic-based stop signs to help you manage congested areas.
Traffic lights to control the flow of trains into stations.
Effortless building 🚧
Forget about the fiddly side of crafting complex railroad systems in other train tycoon games. Instead, use your cursor like a painter’s brush and let the game automatically figure out T-junctions, bridges, or even curved rails!
Realistic train behaviour 🚂
Build your depot to create new trains, and bring them back whenever you want to add or remove carriages. Just watch out for traffic jams along the way, as each train's fuel supply is as precious as its cargo. Keep this in mind when designing your railway network. The greater the distance between points of interest, the higher your fuel bills!
A dynamic economy 📉
Every game world and its resources are randomly generated, giving you a fresh experience with every new run. Once a village’s basic needs have been met, you’ll need to expand your rail network to meet their increasing demands. As the number of trains in your fleet and the amount of resources you are gathering increases the balancing act between profit and loss becomes more challenging. Remember, the first thing you learn in train tycoon school is that revenue minus costs must equal profit!
Super Loco World's relaxing pace, soothing music and effortless construction belie an in-game economy that will test even the shrewdest businessperson and automation savvy industrialist.
