PMDG 737 | Bad Weather Approach | Real 737 Pilot
889You've just looked at the METAR and copied down the latest ATIS, Wind gusting to 60kts, Heavy Rain Showers, Windshear Reported. How should you prepare for such a challenging approach!?
In this tutorial I'll show you how to apply the guidance from the Boeing FCTM and our Operating Procedures and Supplementary Procedures using the PMDG NGX (FOR FLIGHT SIMULATION USE ONLY).
To make this tutorial as realistic as possible I flew into Cork using Live time and Weather during Hurricane Ophelia which battered Ireland and the West Coast of Ireland on Monday 16th October 2017.
Below 500ft watch as we fly through some very strong Downdrafts and Updrafts and associated Windshear conditions and have to make some quite positive inputs to stay on profile!
