Released in 1995, directed by Mike Gabriel and Eric Goldberg and starring, Irene Bedard and Mel Gibson, Pocahontas tells us the story of an English soldier and the daughter of an Algonquin chief sharing a romance when English colonists invade seventeenth century Virginia. However, should Pocahontas be bumped up on your Disney + watchlist? Or should this movie be left in that old box of Disney VHS tapes in your crawl space.
