What happens if you aren't converting damage but you get... a negative bonus to damage conversion?

It seems like the game treats it as a more multiplier to damage. "-18% physical damage converted to lightning" appears to be "18% more physical damage"

This can scale as high as 25% with a top-tier Reflecting Mist which is kinda bonkers.

Conversion mods come as uncommon drops in Delve (rarely, they are fractured)

Note: This needs thorough testing to ensure it works. It's really, really hard to test interactions like this in game. It cannot be ruled out that the damage multiplier is tooltip only at the moment.
