It looks like I've missed a couple of days uploading. I was going to wait to see if any of my older videos (VS. Robyn's especially) would get anymore comments/views before bombarding you with new stuff. Then I bought New Super Mario Bros. Wii, and I've been enjoying that a whole lot. I've thought about showing some multiplayer footage of that game with me playing with my mom for laughs, but I doubt people would watch it. Picture quality kind of holds my videos back. We'll see though.

Anyway, this was a pretty strange battle. I don't know how often I hope that during a match, a Pokemon gets hit early on. Probably not that much. I don't know why this guy completely avoided Sunflora, and to be honest, it was really ticking me off. I wasn't just ticked off because it's part of my strategy that Sunflora gets hit, but also because it felt like my opponent thought he wasn't a big deal when Sunflora was dishing out some of the harder hits in this match.

After this match, I had to check Latios' base stats. At level 50, the highest his speed can go is 178. Austin's Aerodactyl and his Sunflora were given specific stats. It was so hard to find the perfect two. Aerodactyl was always either too fast or Sunflora was too slow, but I settled on the best two I could get. This Aerodactyl has a speed of 178 at level 50 meaning it matches a +Speed natured Latios' as long as that Latios has perfect IVs in Speed. I wish that for this match, the game would have just let Aerodactyl go first...especially after what happened in the first round, but as you know already...I never have any luck. I always have to rely on myself.

Aside from critical hits, most of the reason why I ever win or lose is because of the move Protect. You never know when a Pokemon will use it unless you're against one of the few Pokemon who can't learn TM moves. To make life easier in double battles, sometimes it's a good idea to double team a Pokemon, but if that Pokemon uses Protect, it really screws you over. This happened a few times in this match and both sides got to taste the agony of a missed opportunity...but one side was slapped by it big time. That was what determined the match.

On another note, Castform may have been a better selection than Shaymin. If that select screen went on a few more seconds. Maybe I should move him to another spot on the select screen. I'm not sure if I'm the only one, but I tend to choose the Pokemon with the easiest access (top and left) more often. Sunflora and Castform are often missed.

I chose - Lopunny, Aerodactyl, Sunflora, and Shaymin

Roberto chose - Clefable, Pikachu, Latios, and Milotic
