I haven't used Alex's team in a long time. It was pointed out to me before that this team has a HUGE ice weakness, and it's true. I built this team in consideration to that too, but for whatever reason, I didn't choose the right guys to take on the one Pokemon I knew would show up...Glaceon.

I was so concerned about who could maybe, possibly, in my dreams, take a super-effective hit from Glaceon. I chose Nidoqueen and Claydol with that frame of mind. I picked Electivire for Cross Chop, and I chose Zapdos for the speed. I COMPLETELY overlooked Lanturn, and that is the one Pokemon I should have brought along.

Pidgeot was pretty troublesome. If I would've used Lanturn and Electivire first, I would have had a much easier time in this battle I think. I would've have constantly had to worry about Glaceon. Electivire would receive some speed boosts, so Tailwind would've have hurt me too much, and it would've petered out by the time Lanturn and/or Electivire were done. Instead, I led with Zapdos, like I always seem to do. I need to break out of this, but Zapdos was a huge player in this match. But I do know that if it wasn't so lucky, it wouldn't have been.

I chose - Nidoqueen, Zapdos, Electivire, and Claydol

HANSAL chose - Slowking, Pidgeot, Glaceon, and Magmortar
