What's this? A Mario Kart upload? I haven't posted a set of races since November 6th. That was just a couple of weeks after I started recording video game footage and uploading what I got! I know it isn't that popular, but I wanted to take a small break from PBR and Tekken and just race some. I took Bowser Jr. out for a spin. He is my favorite character in the game, and the Zip Zip used to be my favorite vehicle as well...that is...until I unlocked the Dolphin Dasher.

I'm tired, so bear with me. I got an hour of sleep, so I may type something loopy. I gotta hold out at least 'til noon!

Race #1 - Daisy Circuit
Since the last time I played Mario Kart was foreverago, you would think that my first race back would be really rusty. I was sloppy on my turns, let's face the facts. That Zip Zip can really get away from you if you don't know how to handle it. Fortunately, I didn't do too bad. What sucked was that I got a Lightning Cloud from an item box and had a Lightning Cloud passed to me from Blu when I was still small from the first Cloud! I was also annoyed that Black apparently beat me at the end. Darn lag. It showed him slipping on a Peel, but I guess he didn't. During this session, Black and Blu really got on my nerves. They bumped into anyone they could trying to slam them into walls and run them off the tracks.

Race #2 - SNES Ghost Valley 2
This race was pretty straightforward, and as with any short track, the race was quick. Everyone stayed pretty close together. I noticed a couple of fall-offs, but everyone still managed to catch up. It feels like the game has changed a little since I played last. A lot of players are really onto bikes now. I felt like I was being bumped out of wheelies a good bit in this session, so I didn't perform them too often as being knocked out of a wheelie really slows you down. Kawabunga gave me a shove right at the end. I don't think it was necessary. It looked like he was going to pass me anyway.

Race #3 - GCN DK Mountain
Other than Black and Kawabunga hanging back at the beginning for whatever reason, this whole race was a fight for first place. For just a race with four players, the last lap was pretty darn intense. I was pretty lucky with items and timing in this race. Black just had to bump me near the end and cause me to fumble around and slam into my own Fake Item Box....but heh. I showed him.

Race #4 - Maple Treeway
This race was hard for me. I guess I still wasn't used to handling the Zip Zip. The turns threw me from left to right, and the area after the first tunnel leading to the Wigglers had to be taken with extreme caution. Otherwise, I would've driven myself right off the left side. I kept getting Mushrooms in this race, and I guess that's what kept me alive the most. I couldn't make good use of the ones I got from item boxes because of the turns and the Mushrooms that popped out of leaf piles anyway. Because of that, I remained in 5th place until the last lap. The Mushrooms kept me alive, but it was the other players' mistakes that caused me to overtake them. After taking a spill at around 7:53, Adolf couldn't keep up at all.
