So, there's something odd with Windows 7. Whenever I go to save a video in Windows Live Movie Maker or I try to convert a video to a .wmv file, the audio gets muffled. I don't like that, but I'm just going to have to get used to it. I tried to save my video in HD too...but I don't like the unnecessary blackness on either side of the video. I'm just sticking with old fashioned crap with vinyl record audio.
Anyway, onto the battle. Boy was I crazy to jump back into Pokemon battling after about a month and some change and use Stacey's team right off the bat. I believe I was thinking that I hadn't used her team in awhile, with good reason. These guys are cute, absolutely...but they're so hard to use! I'm contemplating using Shuppet again. That was my main baby Trick Roomer before I started uploading. If I used Shuppet, I'd have to dump Spoink though. I can't have two sashed Trick Roomers. I'd break my own rules!
I'm okay with Spoink for now, though. I'm trying to find ways to avoid using her at the get-go like I tried here. My opponent had a lot of slowpokes, so I figured it'd be safer to scope things out and possibly set up a screen or two with Pineco first. I was surprised to see Snorlax go down to Explosion. That was definitely unexpected.
Personally, I'm disappointed that my opponent (whose name is rather weird, I might add...) chose to use the "top dogs" on his team against my little guys. I can't say that he assumed it'd be an easy win for choosing those three. He may have just figured they were the best choice against the Pokemon I had, but I feel that IF anyone were to select three Pokemon for an "easy win", I can only hope they'd lose to me or at least get a good run.
This guy was almost toppled...ALMOST. Now that I've given leading with Pineco a couple of chances, I think it's time to encourage myself to switch out when I need to.
