Super Street Fighter 4 Replays - Set #17
0*NOTE* - This is out of order. These are the first matches I had with Danswich. YouTube decided to be lame and not process my videos in order...so...yeah... If this video processes before the original upload, then I will delete the original and make this Set #17 instead of #16. The other video featuring fights with me against Danswich will be #16 since it processed just fine. No big deal...it's just weird.
Wow. It's been a month since I uploaded a SSF4 video. There's no telling how old these matches are. They've been on my game for awhile...possibly even more than a month's worth. Anyway, they are matches that I had with my pal LordxDanswich (scorpionsflame). Naturally, we've both improved since these matches were played...but after watching these matches again, we weren't too bad when these actually took place.

Sakura (UK) *VS* Dhalsim (USA)
North America - Skyscraper Under Construction
No, I didn't let the randomizer choose Dhalsim for me. I picked him myself. As you can see in the match, I have his Yoga Teleport down as well as I have Rose's Soul Throw. I'm willing to bet that none of my Yoga Teleports were performed on purpose. I wonder if there's some sort of odd button lag when I fight people online because I can pull off Yoga Shangri-La with ease offline. Dhalsim's not a main of mine anyway...nor will he ever be. I just felt like using someone out of the ordinary in this match, and that theme stuck for pretty much every match afterwards. No Adon, no Ibuki, and no Rose. Shocking, I know.

Africa - Small Airfield
I'm a lot more used to Dudley now than I was then. I am just so weird with Dudley. Maybe Danswich knows how to play super carefully when his back is against the wall, but I seem to be able to push him into the red with Dudley no matter who he chooses...however, I can't seem to beat him. I should take notes because that tells me I don't play as cautiously as I probably should. Those Machine Gun Blows opened me up tremendously. I love the move, but when it misses, you're pretty much vulnerable for five seconds. That's enough time to give your opponent the win.

South Asia - Beautiful Bay
I don't think I need to go into yet another rant on how much I hate Makoto, so I'll just keep it short and say that yeah...I do. Danswich was picking random the entire time, so there's no telling who he'd end up with. These days, he's actually really good with some of the crumby characters, and that's what I like to see. I appreciate very much someone who can use Makoto to her fullest potential, but will I ever use her myself? Unless it's to unlock her costume colors and taunts, no.

Africa - Solar Eclipse
Hurray! Thanks to C. Viper, I get to select the stage for once. Of course I chose Solar Eclipse. Heh. Now, Karin Kanzuki has nothing to fear. I still like her more than I like Sakura, and I hope Karin becomes DLC for SSF4 eventually, but Sakura is really growing on me. Her combos are pretty rad. You don't really get to see them here, but I've been practicing up with her a great deal, and I imagine you'll be seeing a lot of Sakura in the near future. By the way, all of those EX-Shunpukyakus were failed ultra attempts. Whatever, I chose the wrong ultra anyway.

North America - Drive-In At Night
Hurray for YouTube's 15 minute limit! You get an awesome match to round out this portion of our fights. I'm uploading them in order, and for the first time, the best fights of each set were indeed saved for last. I want to begin talking about this match with a question: Does anyone know a good way to charge moves? Danswich rushed the HELL out of me in this match. It was pretty hilarious. I was laughing (and cussing a little) all the way through the third match. He gave me no time to charge. I've gotten better with his moves, but it'd just be so nice not to have to wait three seconds just to get an attack out that's likely to be blocked.
