*NO RAIN, NO GAIN*

My 200th video!

It's a little late, but this battle begins my PBR marathon in honor of the Black/White release in Japan! In this marathon, I win some...I lose some...but I had a lot of fun in these, and I hope you all have just as much fun watching them!

I figured that for this marathon, I'd give you guys a little insight into my Pokemon choices for each team...so here we go.

Rapidash - Blitz - Megahorn, Charm, Hypnosis, Flare Blitz

Rapidash's role on this team is mostly just a super fast Fire-type. All Pokemon on this team need to benefit from the sun in some way. Not only can he attack before the opponent more often than not, but he makes a great switch in for when I feel Sunflora or Shaymin will be attacked by a Fire-type move. Hypnosis is used in a pinch, and Charm is there since most of the Pokemon on this team aren't so great at hanging around physical attackers.

Aerodactyl - Pterror - Sunny Day, Crunch, Earthquake, Rock Slide

Aerodactyl is my Sunny Day set up! This team revolves around him. Earthquake may seem like an odd move, but Shaymin and Sunflora can take Earthquake well as they are Grass-types, and both of them have Protect. Rock Slide is Aerodactyl's best move, and his most used. He doesn't usually stick around long, but if he does, he can really terrorize a team...especially if there are many Fire-types around. This team seems to draw them.

Shaymin - No Nickname - Seed Flare, Earth Power, Protect, Psychic

Shaymin is awesome. I wish I could nickname it, but it came in a trade, so I can't. Anyway, it's the main special attacker here. Castform has a similar role but with completely different moves making the two together a pretty powerful team. Shaymin can normally survive a Fire attack, and Earth Power is in its moveset to help Aerodactyl shut Fire-types down.

Sunflora - Zuhayr - Safeguard, Endeavor, Protect, Solarbeam

Sunflora's best partner is Aerodactyl. If Sunflora can Endeavor on the first round, he can then Endeavor the other opponent in the second and open the door for Aerodactyl to finish them both off. Sunflora is a beast in the sun, and many people assume that Sunflora simply isn't fast enough to make use of Chlorophyll. I beg to differ.

Lopunny - Hugh - Ice Punch, Return, Fake Out, Thunderpunch

Nicknamed after Hugh Hefner, Lopunny is a great Pokemon to have around. He isn't a heavy hitter, but he knows how to survive...especially against special attacks. If I ever need someone to be faked out, Lopunny is great to have around. In double battles, Darkrai and Kyogre run rampant...so I very often have to pull him out first.

Castform - Raine - Shadow Ball, Weather Ball, Thunderbolt, Ice Beam

Castform is great in any weather. Its nicknamed Raine for giggles since this team is not a Rain Dance team. Castform learns moves that the others can't and is sort of the special form of Lopunny. Castform is so versatile and can take out many kinds of foes. Since he can handle any weather condition, I bring him out a good bit if I see Pokemon like Kyogre or Abomasnow.

In this battle, Kyogre wasn't as big an issue as I thought it'd be. I feel like they weren't wise to keep Kyogre in for the second round since bringing it back in later would've really hurt Sunflora. With Articuno in tow, it would've made things even worse for me! Then again, Charizard can't benefit from the rain at all, so Palmeiras may have been conflicted.

I chose - Lopunny, Aerodactyl, Sunflora, and Castform

Palmeiras chose - Kyogre, Electivire, Charizard, and Articuno
