Pokemon Brilliant Diamond Nuzlocke part 18 ~ Fantina Gym Battle
In this part I do battle Fantina then make my way to Canalave City
First time trying a Nuzlocke so I hope it goes well
Pokemon Brilliant Diamond Nuzlocke rules that I will be using are:
Every Pokemon captured must be nicknamed. If forgot to nickname the captured Pokemon, the Pokemon can't be used in battle but can stay in the party until it is giving a nickname.
When a Pokemon faints, it "dies" and therefore must be put in a "grave" box, unable to be used.
Only the first Pokemon that shows up on any given route is catchable. (Only after getting pokeballs)
Making things easier
If you have a Max Revive discovered on the ground(i.e. not by Pickup), you can save a Pokemon that has just died.
If you accidentaly kill the first Pokemon you see on a route then you may search for that same species and capture it.
Species/Dupes Clause: If the first Pokemon on a route is a repeat of one you already have then you can keep looking and take the next Pokemon. For example, if the player's first encounter in an area is with a Caterpie and they already own a Caterpie, Metapod, or Butterfree, it wouldn't count as their first encounter in that area.
If a Pokemon is Shiny it does not apply to the "One Per Route" rule and may be used(note, most will catch them anyway, but few will actually use the Shines unless they have this rule applied)
Trading to evolve a Pokemon
Making things harder
No Using Legendaries
Battle options to SET(not SWITCH)
No Using in-game trades
No reset and reload the game whenever things go wrong.
The player may not use Pokémon above a certain level limit based on the level of the next Gym Leader/Elite Four/Champion's highest levelled Pokémon
Rules for using The Grand Underground are
I can caught 1 new encounter for every gym badge I get
