I go to Sandgem Town to talk to Professor Rowan, then go back to Celestic Town to get data on Palkia, the legendary of Pokémon Shining Pearl. Afterward, I head over to Snowpoint City to sail to the Battle Zone (2:48). All you can do here at the moment if visit the Battle Tower, which is what I do (7:02). After challenging it, I see the missing Pokémon in my Pokédex, which require you to do things such as visiting the Solaceon Ruint (1:03:06) and seeing a Drifloon on Fridays at the Valley Windworks (1:28:14). Luckily, you can just change the Switch's clock to Friday to encounter it. I also catch Azelf (1:14:16) and Uxie (1:21:58), but Mesprit turns into a roamer.

After seeing all Pokémon in the Sinnoh Dex, I head back to Sandgem Town to talk to Professor Rowan (1:29:37), where Professor Oak stops by and upgrades your Pokédex to the National Dex. With it, the postgame is truly unlocked, as you will finally be able to progress past the Battle Area and rematch the Gym Leaders and Elite Four with harder teams. I visit Ramanas Park (1:35:09), which is also available at this point, and view the different areas, but I do not have the tools needed to catch the legendaries. Afterward, I save and prepare for final area.
