7After beating the Ecruteak Gym, you can take the left path, which leads to Olivine City, or the right path, which leads to Mahogany Town. You can get the 5th to 7th Badges in any order, meaning you can do Mahogany Town's Gym before doing Olivine City's Gym. I decided to take the route you would normally take, which is Route 38 and 39, I remember you can catch a Tauros or a Miltank there which can make good members if you want a Normal type, you'll see what I'll find there.
