Pokemon Heart Gold - Blackthorne City Gym Leader Clair
19Status of my team so far: Magneton Lv39, Tangrowth Lv38, Lapras Lv38,
Pidgeot Lv38, Raticate Lv39, Typhlosion Lv39My Weepinbell has stepped
down and in its place, I caught a Tangela. I trained it as much as I
could and it evolved to a Tangrowth after learning Ancientpower. A
special attacker at best with a high defense stat.We reach Blackthorne
City and find the last gym leader, Clair. She's the cousin of Lance and
a dragon-type trainer. This will prove to be a tough fight... nah, I'm
thinking Soul Silver.She has a Lv38 Gyarados, two Dragonair that are
Lv38 and a Lv41 Kingdra.For Gyarados, use Electric attacks to take it
down while her Dragonair can easily be taken out with Ice attacks. Her
Kingdra can be an issue but all I can say is to strike hard and strike
fast. Putting Kingdra either paralyzed or put to sleep can give you an
advantage.After the battle, Clair gets upset and refuses to give us the
Rising Badge. Now she asks us to go to Dragon's Den for something.
