It's finally time for the last segment of this speed run. I started off with catching a Quagsire that will help me. Serious runners should split the segment up, but I refused to do this. Then I talked to Red to start the battle. Quagsire started of with Rain Dance to cancel out the Hail. Pikachu should miss an Iron Tail here, but I decided to sacrifice my other Pokémon to heal Quagsire up. It used Yawn next and now Iron Tail had to hit. Pikachu finished Quagsire off with Quick Attack and it fell asleep.
Now is the perfect opportunity to power up Feraligatr with X-Items. 3 X-Attacks and 1 X-Speed are enough. Pikachu would wake up before this, so I decided to OHKO it with Earthquake earlier. Serious runners should not do this. Venusaur wasn't a OHKO because of this and I had to use my third X-Attack now. It fell to Ice Fang and I healed Feraligatr up.
Blastoise is a good choice to use my fourth X-Attack. Feraligatr is able to survive two Focus Blasts and if one misses, that's why the last X-Attack is for. I 2HKO'd Blastoise with Earthquake and the battle is won now. Snorlax and Charizard are OHKO'd by Waterfall and Lapras by Rock Slide. The only thing that could go wrong is Rock Slide missing. Red is defeated at last, but it could be a minute faster.
My final time is 3:58! This is actually beyond my wildest dreams. My initial target was sub 4:15. This turned out to be a lot better than I excepted. I think that sub 3:55 is definately possible, but I wouldn't try it. This marks the end of this awesome speed run.
