I need to catch a Rattata for Cut and I wanted to do it at full health. If I encounter a Pidgey too, so be it. I don't have to catch it in the future then. There is the required and annoying Pokémon catching tutorial and I went into Viridian Forest. There I fight a few Bug Catchers to level up Charmander. They are easily defeated thanks to Ember. I stopped before the tall grass in the forest.

Saved at 0:10 with a L11 Charmander.
