0I ran past the walking Scientist and I needed to get past the spinning grunt three times. I needed him to cooperate to save seconds and I got the Card Key. I used two X-Specials against my rival and his Pidgeot had to use Wing Attack. Blastoise liked to use Protect on his first turn a lot, so I was surprised when it didn't this time. I needed to bring Charizard into Blaze with Water Gun, so I could 2HKO it with Flamethrower. His other Pokémon were no threat and I received the Lapras for Surf and Strength. I did PP management with the grunt and I didn't heal before Giovanni to keep Blaze.
Saved at 1:17 with a L41 Charizard.
