0I got a great trash can selection in the Vermilion gym and Pikachu couldn't use Quick Attack. I OHKO'd Lt. Surge's team with Ember and Flamethrower and I flew to Lavender Town. I needed Blaze to OHKO Wartortle with Flamethrower, so I had to use two Wing Attacks. The rest of my rival's team was no threat and I picked up an Elixir.
I OHKO'd all the ghosts with Ember and I grabbed a Rare Candy too. The ghost Marowak could be OHKO'd by a regular Flamethrower, but this was very rare. I needed Flamethrower and Wing Attack to OHKO the grunt's Golbat and Drowzee and the rest of their Pokémon were defeated by Ember. The rats didn't use Quick Attack and I received the Poké Flute. I cycled back to Saffon City and I saved on the fifth floor of Silph. Co.
Saved at 1:14 with a L39 Charizard.
