Released on January 29th, 2004, Pokemon FireRed and LeafGreen represented the first time the Pokemon Company would take a look at remaking one of the older generations of Pokemon within the engine of the newest one. This legacy would last until the current era at least, with gens 2 and 3 both receiving amazing remakes as well. But for today's adventure, we will be ignoring those later titles and starting things within the grassy hamlet of Pallet Town. Though we encounter some grief from the Buttock, we can use the opportunity to let Hazzard the Charmander do a little bit of growing, setting us up for the journey down the road. We also get halted by a shop assistant and forced into mailman duties for Professor Oak. Apparently the wage of a Pokemon Professor isn't quite enough to afford overnight shipping, even for a special custom order Pokeball.


I'm not sure if any of ya'll read this far into my overly long descriptions, but I wanted to put here a thank you and apology to my couple of viewers that have been waiting for this. I did not mean for it to take me a whole month to actually get this completed, but many failed recording attempts combined with a few days where I didn't have the energy to do anything but sleep were keeping me from making this a reality. I completely mean what I said during the game's intro: I promise to you this will be my best project to date, and that we will achieve personal growth together. Daily uploads resume now.
