After Volo takes me in, I was then given a choice to work with Irida or Adaman. As suggested by Cogita at Ancient Retreat, I am then tasked to investigate the three lakes in Hisui, there is Lake Verity in Obsidian Fieldlands, Lake Valor at Crimson Mirelands, and Lake Acuity at Alabaster Icelands, and take part in the trials these lakes have.

As for the rest of the description, I recommend watching the full video before reading past this point of the description

The next task is to investigate the three lakes, and do note you can do them in any order, Lake Verity is at Obsidian Fieldlands, Lake Valor is at Crimson Mirelands, and Lake Acuity is at Alabaster Icelands, and we have Volo and whichever clan leader you picked helping us out.
You then learn that the lakes are guarded by three Legendary Pokémon that are known as the Lake Guardians, and I will be going over them in mission order. The first place is Lake Verity, which is guarded by Mesprit, and for some reason, the Arc Phone can open up caves. You do have to fight against an Alpha Pokémon in each of the caves, for Lake Verity, you have fight an Alpha Goodra, this is a Steel/Dragon-type Pokémon, so prepare your Fighting or Ground-type attackers, you can catch the Alpha Pokémon in the caves if you want. After defeating or catching Goodra, Mesprit shows up and you get tasked with answering some questions, none of the choices matter, and you receive Mesprit's Plume, and you then head back to Ancient Retreat, and after talking to Cogita, the next task is Lake Valor.
The Alpha Pokémon you have to fight against is Overqwil, the evolved form of Hisuian Qwilfish, it is a Dark/Poison-type, and it is only weak to one type, Ground-type moves. Before the update which included a bunch of stuff, this was the only time you can encounter Overqwil without having to evolve a Qwilfish by using Barb Barrage 20 times in Strong Style. After defeating or catching Overqwil, you then have to try and hit Azelf with balms, and after attempting without giving up, we receive Azelf's Fang, kind of a strange name, because Azelf doesn't have any visible fangs.
After a bit of dialogue with Cogita, the last place is Lake Acuity, and in that cave, you have to fight against an Alpha Zoroark, it is a Normal/Ghost-type, so it's only weak to Dark-type moves, it can use Nasty Plot to boost its offensive stats and deal a lot of damage with its moves, you can catch it if you want to, as Zoroark are very rare in the wild. After defeating or catching Zoroark, Uxie shows up, and you have to answer its question by telling it the numbers based on the eyes of the Pokémon mentioned, and Uxie then gives you Uxie's Claw.
When you have done all three of the lake trials, you then go to Shrouded Ruins, where the Lake Trio give you the Red Chain, and then it is back to Jubilife Village. After talking with Cyllene, where we complete the task of surviving out in the wild, we learn that Commander Kamado has gone to Coronet Highlands in an attempt to subdue the Legendary Pokémon, and that is our next task. There is a new request, interact with the Lucario, and you receive the request from Rye, who looks much like Riley, because he also owns a Lucario as well. You might need a high-levelled Fire or Fighting-type, as you do have to fight against Lucario for that quest.
When you get to the gates, you get sent to Coronet Highlands, and you get a new camp, which is very close to where we fought Electrode, that part was meant to be in the next part, because I wanted to get a Fire-type Pokémon for the Lucario quest.
You can battle Zisu and the Security Corps when talking to Ingo, even if Zisu is not around in Jubilife Village, and that she had gone with Kamado to Coronet Highlands.
