Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu Nuzlocke - BEATING THE ELITE FOUR + VIEWER TRADES LIVE
158Today we're going to be tackling a Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu Nuzlocke for the Nintendo Switch!
After the success of the Pokemon Platinum NUzlocke, I had a ton of fun and realized I wanted to move on and do more!
I also want to Shiny Hunt in Pokemon Let's Go Pikachu, but I never finished the game before (I admittedly got bored).
So I thought "Why not do a Nuzlocke of the game so I can beat it and start doing some Shiny Hunts?" and here we are.
Since this is a bit of a weirder game to Nuzlocke, there are some adjustments to the usual rules and they are as follows:
Nuzlocke Rules:
1. If your Pokemon faint, they're gone for good and cannot be revived
2. When catching a Pokemon on a route, you can only go for the first Pokemon you see that spawns in.
3. Since XP is gained from catching (and limited battles), you can catch as many Pokemon as you'd like per route, but you can only KEEP the first one caught and must release the rest as soon as you reach the nearest Pokemon Center.
4. Static encounter catches (like Legendary Pokemon) and Shiny Pokemon are able to kept and used if you wish.
5. You have to nickname all Pokemon that you catch.
6. Your starter Pokemon (Pikachu) must be stored in the PC box and not used.
Sounds good, right?
At the end of the day, even with certain stipulations, the game itself isn't that hard, so this may not end up being the most challenging Nuzlocke, but it will help serve the purpose of allowing me to finally finish the game...while making it just a bit more challenging.
