This is mostly some filler days, but there will be some plot coming up, and Alakazam's team has not returned since they left to fight Groudon. Shiftry has gathered a bunch of Pokémon to see if they are worthy enough to stop Groudon and rescue Alakazam's team.

The next few days are just doing some rescue jobs, and it will take two more days till we get some plot. We have not heard anything about Alakazam's team ever since they left to fight Groudon, and I remember in the original games, Groudon was referred to as a Mythical Pokémon, and this was before the term Mythical Pokémon was used for Pokémon like Mew, Celebi, Jirachi, and a few others.
I do show more Wonder Mail recruits, like Mantyke, Wailmer, Misdreavus, and a few others, as they come with some very good moves, and some of these Pokémon are great options for the upcoming dungeon.
As I revisit Silent Chasm in this video, I do show some strong foes for different dungeons, like Metagross, and there is also Noctowl in Lapis Cave, they are very powerful opponents, but you do get a lot of experience if you can defeat them.
In most occasions, Munchlax will show up at Pokémon Square, and it will drop some food, and returning the food to Munchlax will award you with a Munch Belt, this boosts your Attack and Special Attack, but will decrease your hunger meter quicker, and I believe Munchlax can give you a Tight Belt as well. This might be a reference to how Munchlax was the first 4th Generation Pokémon to be revealed, and the original Rescue Team games were one of few games Munchlax appeared in before the release of Pokémon Diamond & Pearl.
After two days, we find a lot of Pokémon at the square, it turns out that Shiftry has called a bunch of Rescue Team Leaders and see if any of them are up to rescuing Team ACT, the three Pokémon accept the request, those being Blastoise of Team Hydro, Octillery of Team Constrictor, and Golem of Team Rumblerock, those three will be up to the task of rescuing Alakazam's team, and we unfortunately do not go, as Magma Cavern is a very tough place, and these three are capable enough.
It is just one day of rescue jobs, and then we get another scene at Pokémon Square, and the team that set off to rescue Alakazam were not successful, and Gengar shows up, calling it an impossible task, and it is up to us to enter Magma Cavern, even if it is a very rough place filled with Fire-type Pokémon, Alakazam and his team need to be rescued, and that somebody has to brave their way through the cavern and fight Groudon.
The next dungeon is very tough, so it is best to be prepared, and I would recommend training up any Water-type Pokémon if you have any, Level 30 is a good level to go for, because there are some tough opponents in Magma Cavern.
