Even though we get news about Buried Relic, we check out a new dungeon called Solar Cave, which is filled with Psychic-type Pokémon. While this dungeon is not relevant to the plot, I would recommend exploring this dungeon, as you get some really good items that can be great help for future dungeons.

As for the rest of the description, I recommend watching the full video before reading past this point of the description

After receiving news about Buried Relic, talk to Shiftry at Pokémon Square, and that will allow you to access Buried Relic. If you talk to Lombre, he will suggest that you talk with Shiftry to get more information on where Buried Relic is. As it is a very long dungeon, this video will be about Solar Cave.
Solar Cave is a 20 floor dungeon, and in the original games, this was where you could find the HM moves for Dive, Waterfall, and Surf, and those moves were required to access certain dungeons, in this game, you don't need Surf or Dive to access different dungeons, at the end, you can find a Friend Bow, this will increase the odds of recruiting Pokéon, along with special Rare Qualities like Squad Up, and you will need if if you want to try and recruit any Shiny Pokémon.
Solar Cave is filled with Psychic-type Pokémon, the following Pokémon you can encounter in this dungeon include Wynaut, Natu, Drowzee, Beldum, Girafarig, Abra, Jynx, Meditite, Mr. Mime, Lunatone, Metang, Hypno, Kirlia, Wobbuffet, Kadabra, Chimecho, Medicham, Grumpig, and Claydol. I would recommend taking along a Ghost or Dark-type Pokémon, preferably Absol, to handle those Psychic-type Pokémon, and most of which can learn some powerful ranged moves like Psybeam. Another thing is that if you defeat an Abra, they will drop a Max Ether, but it can be tricky as Abra can use Teleport to get away, so having the X-Ray Specs can really help, as in the after-game dungeons, you cannot see where the Pokémon are unless you have the X-Ray Specs.
At the end of the dungeon, you can not only find the Friend Bow, but you can find some very useful TM moves, like Flamethrower, Energy Ball, and Ice Beam, and two Deluxe Boxes. Those TMs are nice to teach to different Pokémon, as they are great ranged moves, so if you have any Pokémon lacking a ranged move, those can really help out.
There is a strong foe in Solar Cave, and it is Aipom of all Pokémon, you do not want to underestimate that thing, Aipom can use Tickle to lower your Attack and Defense, and Fury Swipes to deal a lot of damage, it can also use Screech to harshly lower your Defense so that Fury Swipes can get in an easy KO. There is a chance of finding a Shiny Aipom in Solar Cave, but since this is the dungeon where you can get a Friend Bow, this will make Shiny Pokémon easier to recruit, there are a lot of tips in doing so, if you have a Pokémon with False Swipe, like Scyther or Zangoose, that is if they have Squad Up or Friendly for the Rare Quality, those can help, if you started with Cubone or Treecko, they can get False Swipe by level up. False Swipe is also available as a TM, and can be taught to Pokémon like Pinsir, Mawile, Breloom, Shiftry, Absol, and a few others. In this game, if you knock out a Pokémon with False Swipe, they will have a higher chance of being recruited to the team, and if you combine it with an item called an Inviting Orb, this will increase the odds further.
