We check out Pokémon Square, which has some nice shops and other things to check out, as well as the Pelipper Post Office, where jobs are placed on the Bulletin Board. We also check out Makuhita's Dojo and take part in some training drills.

As for the rest of the description, I recommend watching the full video before reading past this point of the description

In this part, we enter Pokémon Square, and a new thing added to the remake that was not accessible at this point in the first game is the improved Makuhita Dojo, because in the original, you couldn't access Makuhita Dojo until after the third dungeon.
Pokémon Square has a bunch of places of interest, the first being the Kecleon Shop, which is run by two Kecleon brothers, the green one sells items like food, seeds, and berries, and the purple one sells TMs, and one thing is that if you press the plus button, you can see which of your Pokémon can learn that TM, and because some can cost up to 2000 Poké, some of these moves might not be bad options. Felicity Bank is run by Persian, and if you deposit or withdraw money each day, Persian will give you an item, so that is a nice change.
Gulpin Link Shop allows you to link moves, and you don't get extra experience for linking moves, instead you use those moves at the same time, and it decreases your hunger meter if you overuse them. Kangaskhan Storage is good for storing items, because if you faint in a dungeon, you will lose every item, so it is best to store some important items in Kangaskhan Storage. We also see residents of Pokémon Square, like Lombre, Bellsprout, and Snubbull, as well as Whiscash at the pond north of Pokémon Square.
Then the Pelipper Post Office, which is run by a group of Pelipper, and there is a Bulletin Board where you can access rescue jobs, and you can head off to a dungeon, if you faint in a dungeon, you can request help from players, and if you get rescued, you can continue on with that dungeon. You can connect online and see any players in need to rescuing, and you will need a Nintendo Switch Online Subscription, not like every Nintendo Switch games needed that if you want to play online.
Now for the main highlight of this video, the Makuhita Dojo, what makes it different is that you need Dojo Tickets to train, and there is a tutorial mode called Tricks of the Trade, where it will teach you about different things, like using moves, pushing your teammates, change direction, using items, and moving diagonally. You get some very useful items, like Escape Orbs, which you can use in an emergency, say you are out of Reviver Seeds, and you are about to faint, this is where the Escape Orb comes to use. Wands were introduced in Super Mystery Dungeon, and you can wave them to gain useful effects, like petrify, sleep, or confuse the target, so they are useful if you are in a tight situation.
Now for the main improvement of the Makuhita Dojo, in Dojo Drills, you will go through a maze filled with Pokémon that your Pokémon will have the type advantage against, say you want to use Bulbasaur, you can pick either the Grass or Poison Maze, while Mudkip can only do the Water Maze, and you get a lot of experience, as well as move growth, which was introduced in Gates to Infinity where if you used a move, it will level up, and it is shared among your teammates, say you used Tackle, another team member's Tackle will have the same level, you gain even more experience if you use any super effective attacks, so this is a big improvement from the original game, but you do need Dojo Tickets.
With those out of the way, you have to collect some jobs from the Bulletin Board and enter a dungeon, and after completing those jobs, you get some good rewards, and it will move onto the next day, and Diglett will appear outside your Rescue Team Base, unlocking a shortcut to Pelipper Post Office.
There will be sparkling dungeons, where you can earn twice more money than usual, and you can earn Treasure Boxes, and if you pick up any Treasure Boxes, they will automatically be opened, so there is no Pokémon that will open your Treasure Boxes like with Xatu, Rampardos, or Klefki in previous Mystery Dungeon games. These Boxes contain Gummis or Dojo Tickets, and there are only two kinds, the Rainbow Gummi and the DX Gummi, which I will explain more about in the next few parts, because in the original games, you had different Gummis, and some were preferred by type, and if the Gummi is eaten by the preferred type, you would earn more IQ, things have changed since the original.
After that, Dugtrio will appear in your base and tell you that Diglett has been kidnapped, this was where the demo ended at, but since this is the full version, we can continue on with the story.
