Kirby Star Allies: Guest Star Bandana Waddle Dee: The Legend of Dee
2Then we have the third Dream Friend in the Wave 1, it is Bandana Waddle Dee, or just Bandana Dee as fans would refer to him as, although he was just called Waddle Dee in Kirby's Return to Dream Land.
Bandana Dee first appeared in Kirby's Super Star, and he is playable in Return to Dream Land, and he fights with a spear. This is the only way to use the Spear Ability in this game, because Kirby cannot use Spear and there are no enemies in Star Allies that give the Spear Ability.
Most of Bandana Dee's moves most use the spear for attacking, most of which include thrusts, and the spear has better range than the sword. Ground Thrust is a move added in the 4.0.0 update, and and it is a very powerful attack. Bandana Dee can throw his spear as a projectile move, and Waddle Copter allows him to float for a limited amount of time.
Bandana Waddle Dee can use elemental attributes, and as he is the only character to have the Spear Ability, the elemental attributes give him some good effects, like Zap Spear, Splash Spear, and many others.
Like with King Dedede and Meta Knight, Bandana Waddle Dee does get some special things when you get to the end, like a special picture at the end of the credits, and unique music when you get to the last boss fight, with Bandana Dee, it is the same song as the other Wave 1 Dream Friends, as the next few ones are from past Kirby games.
