We have become a Rescue Team, and the first job is to enter a dungeon called Thunderwave Cave and save a bunch of Magnemite, who have got stuck together. This cave has some Electric-type Pokémon, but it shouldn't be too hard, as we are just starting out as a team.

As for the rest of the description, I recommend watching the full video before reading past this point of the description

I do like how the Rescue Team Base is themed around the type of the player Pokémon, since I am a Bulbasaur, it is a Grass-themed base, it is not limited to Bulbasaur, if you play as Chikorita or Treecko, you get this kind of base as well.
There is a Fire-themed base for Charmander, Cyndaquil, and Torchic, a Water-themed base for Squirtle, Totodile, Mudkip, and Psyduck, a Normal-themed base for Pikachu, Meowth, Eevee, and Skitty, and a Rock-themed base for Machop and Cubone.
After going outside, we check the mailbox to see if we got anything, and we get awarded with a Rescue Team Badge, Toolbox, and the Pokémon News, which does get delivered daily, so we are getting started as a Rescue Team, and that is all there is, until Pelipper comes and delivers mail to us. It is an objective from Magnemite, and that two Magnemite are stuck together, and it is not enough to form a Magneton. The area is Thunderwave Cave, and we must save Magnemite's friends.
Thunderwave Cave has cool music, I like the soundtrack from the Rescue Team games, but I like how improved the remake's songs are, the following Pokémon that you can find in this dungeon include Rattata, Poochyena, Nidoran♀, Voltorb, Elekid, Plusle, and Minun. One thing I forgot to mention in the previous part is that the level-up movepool is based on the Pokémon Sun & Moon games, so even if it did release after Sword & Shield, I feel this is to make up for not having a Mystery Dungeon game around Gen 7, and this game only has Pokémon up to Gen 3, but there are some Gen 4 Pokémon in this game, most of which are new evolved forms of a few Pokémon.
The Pokémon there aren't too difficult to take down, as it should take about two hits, but you do have to be wary of moves like Tail Whip from Rattata. Voltorb can use Eerie Impulse to lower your Special Attack, it can also use Sonic Boom, which will always deal 20 damage when it hits, so it is a dangerous move this early on, and it can have Static, so there is a chance that you can get paralyzed, Elekid will always have Static, and it can use Quick Attack, making it a tough foe to fight, specially if your Defense is lowered by Leer. Plusle and Minun can use Growl and Play Nice to lower your Attack, so most of these Pokémon can use moves to lower stats. As there is no official database on what levels the Pokémon are in dungeons, as Bulbapedia only lists the levels from the original Rescue Team games, I look into the level up moves from Sun & Moon to get ideas on some of the Pokémon.
This game does give a few tutorials, like food items, traps, and several other stuff, and the nice thing is that you can change leaders, this was not possible until beating the main story in the original games. The good thing is that if your leader is at a disadvantage, having a balanced team is good for these kinds of situations, as Bulbasaur will not do well against Flying-types, and Skitty has Charge Beam, which can help against any Flying-type opponents. I chose Skitty for my partner to give it a challenge, although Skitty does get Attract, which is very useful in tough fights, because in the original games, Skitty was overpowered, because Attract, Sing, and Double Slap made a lot of fights very easy, and then it got nerfed in Explorers of Time, Darkness, & Sky, where it had Normalize, making all of its moves Normal-type, and the addition of Genders made Skitty struggle against foes of the same Gender.
Once all the tutorials is done, and after 5 floors, the Magnemite are rescued, and you get some good rewards, like a Big Apple, Oran Berry, and 650 Poké, this is sure to start out really good.
