The next area is Pitfall Valley, as this is where Latias had crash landed into, and that was what led Latios into stealing the TMs from Kecleon. Like Northern Range, Pitfall Valley has Flying-type Pokémon, and the deepest parts of the dungeon are known to have some very dangerous Pokémon to fight with.

As for the rest of the description, I recommend watching the full video before reading past this point of the description

Much like Northern Range, Pitfall Valley is also a 25 floor dungeon, the difference is that Northern Range had 24 floors, while the 25th floor was the battle with Latios, while in Pitfall Valley, the dungeon has 25 floors, and after floor 25 is when you get to the end of the dungeon.
I recommend bringing along an Electric, Ice, or Rock-type Pokémon with you, as Pitfall Valley has a lot of Flying-type Pokémon, you can encounter Pidgey, Farfetch'd, Hoppip, Taillow, Ledyba, Spearow, Raticate, Butterfree, Doduo, Swablu, Yanma, Masquerain, Scyther, Skiploom, and Aerodactyl.
The later floors of Pitfall Valley can be very tough, because when you start encountering Masquerain, they can use Silver Wind and Ominous Wind, which can affect the whole room, and they can use Quiver Dance, but the real challenge is the Aerodactyl on the last few floors, Aerodactyl can have Pressure for its Ability, and it can use some very dangerous moves like the Elemental Fangs, Iron Head, Ancient Power, and a few others, and it can use Agility.
It was a good thing I brought Sealeo into that dungeon, while Delcatty does have Ice Beam and Thunderbolt to handle most of the Flying-types, I linked Defense Curl and Ice Ball so that Sealeo can get in some great damage, as Ice Ball is a multi-hit move, and multi-hit moves are very overpowered in this game.
When you get to the end of the dungeon, you will find Latias in the very depths of Pitfall Valley, and you get to use the Teleport Gem to escape from what feels like the depths of the void, and you get to reunite the two.
After some dialogue, both Latios and Latias will join your team, in the original games, you get asked if you want them to join, and if you said no, Alakazam will explain to you that because both the Eon Duo are very rare Pokémon, and if you ever release them from your camp, or Friend Areas as they were called back then, they are gone forever, so you will no longer see them again.
Both are obtained at Level 35, Latias and Latios get Dragon Breath, and they have their signature moves, Latias has Mist Ball, and Latios has Luster Purge. They can learn some nice support moves, Latias can get Helping Hand, Refresh, and Heal Pulse, and Latios can get Heal Block, Memento, and Dragon Dance, it wouldn't be bad to have Heal Pulse or Refresh on them, as they can work as supportive partners. They can learn Zen Headbutt, Psychic, and Dragon Pulse for level up moves. As for their TM moves, they can learn a wide variety of moves, like Ice Beam, Thunderbolt, Earthquake, Energy Ball, Light Screen, Reflect, Shadow Ball, and many other moves, and through Tutor moves, they can get Tailwind and Defog, and they do get some other nice moves like Water Pulse and Icy Wind. As both Latias and Latios are Dragon-type Pokémon, they can even learn Draco Meteor, so those are some nice moves those two Dragon/Psychic-type Pokémon can learn.
When you revisit Pitfall Valley, there is a strong foe in that dungeon, and it is Exeggutor, this Pokémon can be a tough opponent, as it can use moves like Barrage, Hypnosis, Wood Hammer, Seed Bomb, and Leaf Storm. There is a chance that you can encounter a Shiny Exeggutor in Pitfall Valley, and if you can recruit one, it is a great Pokémon when Sunny Day is in effect, because with Chlorophyll, that will ensure that Exeggutor will attack twice, and it can use moves like Solar Beam, Psychic, and Sludge Bomb for damage dealing moves.
