2After getting started with Spa Service last episode, it's time to continue with it today. So far nothing to special compared to the original mode from Panel de Pon/Tetris Attack (even though the Team Rocket theme is hilarious 🤣). But today we'll find out this mode in Pokémon Puzzle League takes a different turn from Round 4 and onward. There is a new way Intelligent Systems found to make the Line Clear mode more challenging than in the original game. What was that big new thing in Pokémon Puzzle League again...? 🤔😋
Pokémon Puzzle League is the Nintendo 64 remake of the famous Japanese puzzle game Panel de Pon. After getting a western localization on the SNES under the name of Tetris Attack, developer Intelligent Systems remade the game on the Nintendo 64 with the Pokémon anime as its new theming. Pretty everything we know from Panel de Pon returns in this game as well, but there is a lot more to it this time. New things got added like an expanded multiplayer mode, a harder and longer story mode and even an entirely new way to play Panel de Pon in the form of the 3D puzzles. Take control of Ash Ketchum as he ventures to the Pokémon Puzzle League Village and tries to become the Puzzle Master. But who is the current Puzzle Master? Are we eventually going to be able to take on the Puzzle Master? Let's make the tetris blocks decide that!
