Pokémon Ruby Improved Speed Run Segment 23
2The longest segment in this run started with me catching a Marill. I decided to weaken it first because Marill was already rare enough. I managed to dodge all rotating trainers in Route 120 and Route 121. I went briefly into Lilycove City and entered Route 123. I picked up a Rare Candy here and went into Mt. Pyre. I fought some Magma Grunts at the top and received the Red Orb. I picked up another Rare Candy and few back to Slateport City.
I saw how Team Magma stole the submarine and flew back to Lilycove City. I entered the Magma Hideout and dodged all Grunts. The Admin is very easy and I went into Route 124. I went on an island by accident, but I decided to go further because the segment went without troubles already. I entered Mossdeep City and received the HM Dive from Steven. I bought some X-Attacks and Hyper Potions and entered the gym. I fought the required trainer and solved the puzzle as quickly as possible.
Saved at 1:30 with a L39 Swampert.
