The final battle with Maxie began with me using a X-Special. His Mightyena used Swagger, so I decided to keep on going until the confusion hit Swampert. To my surprise, I managed to OHKO all Maxies Pokémon during confusion. Surf OHKO'd Mightyena, Ice Beam OHKO'd Crobat and Surf/Earthquake OHKO'd Camerupt. Groudon escaped and I exited the Seafloor Cavern. I had then a conversation with Maxie, Archie and Steven.
I went to Sotoopolis City with bright sunlight. I entered the city and talked to Steven and Wallace. I entered the Cave Of Origin and picked up the HM Waterfall. I fled from Groudon and exited the cave with an Escape Rope. I recieved the TM Brick Break and taught it to Swampert. I entered the gym and solved the ice puzzle so I didn't had to fight any trainers.

Saved at 1:43 with a L40 Swampert.
