A bunch of Tera Raid Events have been announced, and for this week from January 20th till January 23rd, we got the Mismagius and Drifblim spotlight event, don't know if they will go over every version exclusive Pokémon or not, but this is the third we have received. The next Unrivalved Pokémon event, like the Charizard and Cinderace event we had, will be a Greninja with the Poison Tera Type, and they did announce that for next month, there will be a Tera Raid Event themed around Tandemaus with the Fairy Tera Type.
To recap since the last Tera Raid video, I have completed Pokémon Scarlet, and this has given me access to ancient Paradox Pokémon, which I can use the Union Circle to access another version's exclusive Pokémon, this was how I was able to get the ancient Paradox Pokémon in this game, and I have completed the Pokédex and got the Shiny Charm, so there might be a chance that I can find Shiny Pokémon during these Tera Raid Event videos. I have recorded the final boss battle in Pokémon Scarlet, that video will be going up when my Pokémon Violet playthrough is done, and I did get Koraidon, which means I can borrow Koraidon from Pokémon Scarlet if I need a good Fighting-type Pokémon for those Tera Raids.
Going over the Tera Raid Event, Drifblim can be found with the Dark Tera Type, while Mismagius can have the Ghost Tera Type, and starting with Drifblim, in the 4 Star Tera Raids, Drifblim has Strength Sap, Shadow Ball, Stockpile, and Payback, while the 5 Star Tera Raids for Drifblim have Air Cutter instead of Payback, and it can use Tailwind. Taunt is a very important for this one due to the amount of status moves Drifblim has, making Pokémon like Grimmsnarl a good choice for it, but the downside is that Drifblim's Dark Tera Type does make it immune to Grimmsnarl's Taunt due to Prankster not working on Dark-type Pokémon, and some good alternatives include Umbreon, Cyclizar, and many others that can get Taunt. Drifblim can have the Hidden Ability of Flare Boost, which increases its Special Attack by 50% when burned, but it does have Unburuden which is a good Ability on it. The Dark Tera Type is very good defensively, as that turns Drifblim's weaknesses to Ghost and Dark into resistances, and its access to Air Slash allows it to take on any Bug and Fighting-type Pokémon attempting to take advantage of Drifblim's Dark Tera Type. The only Dark-type moves Drifblim can use are Payback, Thief, and Fling, not even Dark Pulse, which makes the Tera Type better for defense than for offense. Drifblim is better used in Double Battles where it can make a good partner for Indeedee with Psychic Surge, where Drifblim uses the Psychic Seed to activate Unburden, and in Tera Raids, Drifblim can use Clear Smog to remove stat changes from a Pokémon that likes to boost their stats. Drifblim is exclusive to Pokémon Scarlet, but players with the opposite version can access Drifblim Tera Raids through the Poké Portal.
In Violet, you find Mismagius in Tera Raids, and while they can be any type, you can find Mismagius with the Ghost Tera Type in 5 Star Raids. For moves, Mismagius in the 4 Star Tera Raids have Mystical Fire, Fake Tears, Hex, and Confuse Ray, with Nasty Plot as an extra move, while the 5 Star Tera Raids have Shadow Ball and Powe Gem instead of Hex and Confuse Ray. The Ghost Tera Type for Mismagius further powers up its Shadow Ball, and it does get some good coverage moves like Thunderbolt, Psychic, Power Gem, Energy Ball, and a few other moves, and with Nasty Plot, it can boost its Special Attack stat to higher levels. Mismagius Tera Raids can be very challenging as it can boost its Special Attack with Nasty Plot, and it can use Mystical Fire to lower the opponent's Special Attack, you might need to bring a Taunt user to prevent Mismagius from using Nasty Plot at the start of the battle, and Physical Attackers, like Kingambit or Roaring Moon are the preferred counters for Mismagius, and you can have Umbreon with Screech to weaken its Defense to help in the battle. For other Tera Types, Mismagius can go with Fairy, that way it can be like Flutter Mane, but without Moonblast, Electric Tera Type Mismagius with Thunderbolt is an excellent option, as the Electric Tera Type and Levitate gives Mismagius no weaknesses, it's like fighting a certain Gym Leader in this game.
