- The surprise here, besides the change in scenery, is that Morimoto fights in a Double Battle format (which is sort of bad if you're using him to train 5 other members when using one alone to steamroll his team).
- Generally speaking, Fighting-types do most of the damage to half his team; especially Snorlax, which he Dynamaxes (strangely enough, it doesn't Gigantamaxes).
- After defeating him, he'll give you the Oval Charm, which makes it easier and faster to get eggs from the nurseries in Galar.
- He will also be available to fight daily.
