Gotta catch 'em all... except that you CAN'T in Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield for the Nintendo Switch. Only some of the Pokémon will be available to catch in the Galar region, and many will NOT be transferable from older Pokémon games. The backlash to the decision has been so severe that the game's producer Junichi Masuda has made a statement on behalf of Game Freak. Yikes!
