Another limited time Wild Area event is available for only a few days, from July 9th till July 11th, Pokémon themed around the different Curry ranks will be available, so those Pokémon are Koffing, Wobbuffet, Milcery, Copperajah, and Charizard. Both Charizard and Copperajah appear in their Gigantamax forms, and there is a very rare chance you can find a Shiny Copperajah in the Max Raid Battles.
You can get Curry ingredients from the Max Raid Battles, in Sword, you can get Bach's Food Tin, and in Shield, you get Bob's Food Tin, so I guess this event is there for players to complete their Curry Dex, and there being 151 different kinds of Curry to make.
Then it is to go over each of the Pokémon in the event, and I will go by order of rank, first is Koffing, its Hidden Ability is Stench, which is not that good, it does turn into Misty Surge when it evolves into Galarian Weezing, but it already has Levitate and Neutralizing Gas which are better Abilities, and Neutralizing Gas is better for Double Battles as there is a certain Pokémon that works well as a teammate for Galarian Weezing. It has good Defense, and it is the only Pokémon to learn Strange Steam, and has access to moves like Clear Smog, Flamethrower, Toxic Spikes, Haze, Pain Split, and a few other moves, so it is at least a decent Pokémon.
Next is Wobbuffet, its Hidden Ability is Telepathy, which is not that good, Shadow Tag is the better Ability, and there isn't much to go over as Wobbuffet is all about counterattacking, it was banned to Ubers back in Gen 3 because it was a good user of Leftovers, and a battle between two Wobbuffet would be an endless battle, as the Leftovers healed off the Struggle damage.
The next one is Milcery, and it will not have the Ability to Gigantamax unlike other Milcery from past Wild Area Events, but when you evolve it into Alcremie, you can give it Max Soup to give it the ability to Gigantamax, as G-Max Finale is better on it than Max Starfall. Milcery's Hidden Ability is Aroma Veil, which protects it from moves like Taunt or Torment, this is a nice Ability, as Alcremie does learn a lot of status moves, like Aromatherapy, Recover, Calm Mind, Light Screen, and a few others, and it does have decent Special Attack to use moves like Dazzling Gleam, Mystical Fire, Psychic, Energy Ball, and many other moves.
Then for the Pokémon that you can find the Shiny variant of very rarely, it is Copperajah. Its Hidden Ability is Heavy Metal, which pairs up well with access to moves like Heat Crash and Heavy Slam, but it will take a lot of damage from Low Kick, so that is a downside to having Heavy Metal, and Copperajah is already a heavy Pokémon anyway. Sheer Force is not a bad Ability for Copperajah, as it has access to moves like Iron Head, Play Rough, Rock Slide, Zen Headbutt, and many other moves. When Gigantamax, Copperajah can use G-Max Steelsurge, which creates a unique entry hazard that is like a Steel-type Stealth Rock, where Pokémon will take damage based on their type match-up against Steel-type moves, I wonder if they will ever make Steelsurge a regular Pokémon move than lock it away as a Gigantamax move, maybe in Generation 9, or if ever they keep Dynamax in a future Pokémon game.
Then for the highest rank out of the Curry rankings, I do wonder if there have been players that have got Charizard rank, as it is not that easy to get. Charizard appears in its Gigantamax form, and its Fire-type moves become G-Max Wildfire, and its Hidden Ability is Solar Power, which is very good in sun teams, and in Double Battles, if Charizard has a teammate with Drought, that will make its G-Max Wildfire deal even more damage. Charizard learns some very good moves, like Flamethrower, Air Slash, Solar Beam, Scorching Sands, Dragon Pulse, and many others. While its type gives it a huge weakness to Rock, which was what put Charizard in the lower tiers in previous generations because of how common Stealth Rock was, Charizard does benefit from the Heavy-Duty Boots so that it will not take damage from Stealth Rock when it enters battle.
