Pokemon Sword (Part 5): Water Gym and Getting Growlithe
Part 5 of 15, of Michael's blind playthrough of "Pokemon Sword". In this part, Arglefumph tackles the Water Gym. Solving the maze puzzle proves to be easier than fighting Nessa. Arglefumph loses once, before getting victory. Surprisingly, Yamper's spark attack is more effective than dynamaxing Pikachu!
After that, Arglefumph gets a Growlithe for his daughter, who has a Growlithe toy. The rules for getting a Growlithe are someone complicated at this point. You have to get Growlithe from an exclamation mark battle in a Hammerlocke Hills, while it's very sunny. The Growlithes in other places are too high level for you to capture at this point in the game.
Arglefumph gets a rare Pokemon (Slowpoke) and meets with Chairman Rose. Then Arglefumph does some adjustment on her six party members, as there are three fire types and two electricity types, making the party unbalanced.
The Arglefumph logo animation at the start of this video was made by Serge Hanna. The music was made by alwaysthebutler.
