I have finally arrived at Hulbury, which is where Nessa's Gym is located. This is a Water-type Gym, so having a Grass or Electric-type on your team will be very helpful. This city does have some shops and a harbour, so there will be a lot of explore before challenging Nessa.

As for the rest of the description, I recommend watching the full video before reading past this point of the description

Hulbury is a harbour city, you can buy some Incenses at the market, which you will need in order to breed for Baby Pokémon, like Wynaut, Munchlax and a few others. I do recommend getting the Luck Incense, which doubles the amount of money earned from battle. There are some other helpful items, including a Shell Bell, Magnet for Electric-type attackers, and the TM for Electroweb, which can be learned by a few Pokémon, including Pikachu, Joltik, Grubbin, and a few others.
There is also an in-game trade where you can trade a Minccino for Cottonee, if you have a Sun Stone, you can immediately evolve Cottonee into Whimsicott, and reteach some good moves, like Giga Drain, Moonblast, Cotton Guard, and Stun Spore. Whimsicott has really good Speed, and with Prankster, it can easily set up with Stun Spore and Cotton Guard, making it good against Physical attackers, this is a good option for the upcoming Gym.
In the harbour, Nessa will be there, and you will have to find her before taking on her Gym, and you can also fish at the harbour, I will go over the Pokémon you can find there.
First up is Arrokuda, even though you can encounter it back on Route 2, I waited until then to go over it. Arrokuda evolves at Level 26, and once it evolves, it becomes a speedy Physical attacker that can hit hard, and you can reteach Throat Chop on it once evolved. It is a great user of moves like Crunch and Liquidation, and through TR moves, you can teach it Close Combat, Poison Jab, Drill Run, and Psychic Fangs, giving it a good Phyisical movepool, Arrokuda is a good addition if you are looking for an excellent Water-type Physical attacker.
Next up is Chinchou, I recommend getting one with Volt Absorb, and even though it doesn't get Discharge until Level 30 as Lanturn, you can teach it some good TR moves, like Thunderbolt and Scald, and it does also get Dazzling Gleam as well. Lanturn has high HP and good Special Defense, it can make a decent option to consider.
Then we have Basculin, they come in both Red and Blue-Striped forms, Basculin has really good Attack for this point in the game, and with Adaptability, it can do massive damage with Liquidation if you have the TR for it. Even though it is a decent Pokémon, I would recommend Arrokuda or Drednaw over Basculin.
The rarer encounter is Wishiwashi, and it has an interesting concept, when Wishiwashi is Level 20 or over, it will be in its School Form, giving it stats equivalent to a Legendary Pokémon, but the downside is that if Wishiwashi's health is low, it will be in its very weak Solo Form. It will have Brine when caught, but you can teach it some nice TR moves, like Surf, Ice Beam and Earthquake, giving you a powerful force, I would recommend Wishiwashi if you are looking for a good Water-type for your team.
Now to take on Hulbury Gym, and I decided to evolve Nuzleaf into Shiftry to show that you can have something very overpowered this early on, specially due to the fact that you can reteach Leaf Blade to Shiftry. If you are struggling against the Gym Leader, I recommend catch a Nuzleaf or Lombre back on Route 5, evolve it and teach them Leaf Blade or Energy Ball respectively, otherwise if you caught the Eldegoss back then, this is also a great Pokémon to use for this. Other good options include Raichu, Vikavolt, Roserade, and a few others, and if you picked Grookey, you will have an easy time with this Gym.
In this Gym, you will have to press the switches to get through a maze and create a path along the way, then you get to battle against Nessa, I will go over her team.
Goldeen: Water Pulse, Whirlpool, Horn Attack, Agility
Arrokuda: Aqua Jet, Bite, Whirlpool, Fury Attack
Drednaw: Razor Shell, Water Gun, Bite, Headbutt

Her first two Pokémon aren't too threatening, and Nessa will Dynamax her Drednaw, and it can use Max Geyser, which summons rain for 5 turns, making Drednaw's Water-type moves hit harder, and its Razor Shell is dangerous once the Dynamax wears off. Like with the first Gym, I will only Dynamax after the Gym Leader, giving it more of a challenge. If you have a Grass-type on your team, Max Overgrowth should take out Drednaw in one attack.
After beating Nessa, you will earn the Water Badge and the TM for Whirlpool, then you visit the Seafood Restaurant with Chairman Rose, and Sonia will give you the TM for Retaliate. We do also see some Galarian Audino as well, even though they are not really Audino, they are a different Pokémon, which I will go over when we encounter them.
