It is time to explore the rest of Circhester and challenge the Gym, and one thing to note is that it is a Rock-type Gym in Sword, or an Ice-type Gym in Shield. This will be one tough puzzle, and Gordie will be awaiting at the end.

As for the rest of the description, I recommend watching the full video before reading past this point of the description

There are some good TMs that you can pick up in Circhester, like Brick Break, which is helpful for the upcoming Gym, and you can get Icy Wind, which I believe would be Rock Tomb in Shield.
There is also a Move Tutor who will teach any of your Dragon-type Pokémon the move Draco Meteor, a very powerful move that cuts your Special Attack. I never mentioned the Catching Charm in the previous part, it increases the chances of getting a critical catch, and I do feel like they made Pokémon harder to catch, and I have heard it has to do with level, I hate that, because I have had Bug or Water-type Pokémon break out of a Net Ball when it should have been a guaranteed catch, even at low health and paralyzed.
Now to go over the Gym, and I do use a good selection of Pokémon, including Eldegoss, Golett, and Malamar. I did get Malamar offscreen, because the evolution has to done in handheld mode, and even though my Golett does not have a good Nature, it does have the Eviolite so it can stand a good chance in the Gym. In the Gym, you get given a tool that will help you scout out the area, and the ground can sometimes break and you fall into a hole, taking you back to the last platform you were at. Once you get through the puzzle, you get to battle with Gordie, in Shield, the Gym Leader would be Melony, an Ice-type user.
I will start by going over Gordie's team.
Barbaracle: Shell Smash, Rock Tomb, Razor Shell
Shuckle: Power Split, Stone Edge, Struggle Bug, Rock Tomb
Stonjourner: Stealth Rock, Rock Tomb, Body Slam, Wonder Room
Coalossal: Tar Shot, Stealth Rock, Heat Crash, Rock Tomb

While Rock-types are very sturdy, they do have a lot of weaknesses, and Gordie is not to be underestimated, his Barbaracle has Shell Smash, and it is devastating if you let it do that. Shuckle isn't too threatening, so you should have some good Steel, Rock or Water-type moves to take it out. Stonjourner is a new Rock-type Pokémon with good Attack and Defense, but terrible Special stats, and it can use Wonder Room to swap its Defense and Special Defense. Gordie will Gigantamax his Coalossal, and its Rock-type moves become G-Max Volcalith, which continues to deal damage over 4 turns, but you should be able to Dynamax your Water or Ground-type to take out Coalossal. Once Gigantamax wears off, Coalossal can use Tar Shot, which makes its target weak to Fire-type moves, and Heat Crash is devastating if your Pokémon is lighter than Coalossal.
After beating Gordie, you will get a Rock Badge and the TM for Rock Tomb.
Now to go over Melony's team.
Frosmoth: Icy Wind, Feather Dance, Bug Buzz, Hail
Darmanitan: Icicle Crash, Headbutt, Taunt, Fire Fang
Eiscue: Amnesia, Freeze-Dry, Hail, Icy Wind
Lapras: Icy Wind, Ice Beam, Surf, Sing

Because Melony has some new Pokémon, it is time to go over each one, Frosmoth is the evolved form of Snom, and its Ice/Bug-type gives it a huge weakness to Rock and Fire, her Galarian Darmanitan is dangerous if you don't defeat it quickly, and it does have Zen Mode, giving it the Ice/Fire-type. Eiscue is a new Pokémon of the Ice-type, and it has an interesting gimmick, its Ice Face has high Defense, and it protects Eiscue from any Physical Attacks, and it changes to its Noice Face, which sacrifices its defenses for great Speed, and when Hail is active, Eiscue will regain its Ice Face, it can also use Amnesia to make it very tricky to take down. Melony will Gigantamax her Lapras, and its Ice-type moves will become G-Max Resonance, which reduces the damage Lapras takes for five turns, so it will have the effect of Aurora Veil, and unlike Gordie's Coalossal, Melony's Lapras is much tougher to take down.
After beating Melony, you get the TM for Icy Wind and an Ice Badge.
After that, we meet up with Sonia, who takes us to a restaurant named Bob's Your Uncle, and after that, I challenge Hop to a battle, and his original team is back together again, and has evolved since, he has Dubwool, Corviknight, and Snorlax, but he will have a new Pokémon called Pincurchin, which is an Electric-type Pokémon that you can get on the next route. Pincurchin has well rounded stats, except for its low Speed and below average HP. It is a good user of Curse, combined with moves like Zing Zap, Liquidation, and Poison Jab. I would say that Pincurchin is decent, but I find that other Electric-types, like Raichu or Boltund are better options than Pincurchin.
Hop will have his fully evolved starter, so that would be either Cinderace, Inteleon, or Rillaboom, and your starter should be able to handle Hop's starter.
