Now with eight badges from all the Galar Gym Leaders, it is time to head off to Wyndon to participate in the Champion Cup, but first off is Route 10, which is filled with Ice-type Pokémon and tough Trainers, and this game doesn't not have a variation of Victory Road.

As for the rest of the description, I recommend watching the full video before reading past this point of the description

This is almost it, and for this part, I decided to take along the ones that were on the team at the beginning, like Dubwool, Corviknight, Boltund, and Shiftry, but they won't be on the final team, it will just be like going to the last area with the first few team members. The final team will not be revealed until the next part. Back in Spikemuth, there is an in-game trade where you can get a Kantonian Mr. Mime for an Obstagoon, and a Choice Specs.
Route 10 is inhabited by Ice-type Pokémon, and there is one Pokémon you can encounter, and that is the Galarian variant of Mr. Mime. If levelled up once, it will evolve into Mr. Rime, but only Galarian Mr. Mime can evolve. Mr. Rime has really good Special Attack, it is an Ice/Psychic-type with a good Special movepool, it will have Freeze-Dry, Psychic, and Dazzling Gleam as level up moves, and for TMs and TRs, it can get Thunderbolt, Ice Beam, Shadow Ball, and many others. This is a good Pokémon to add to your team for a final team member. In case you are wondering, there is no Galarian Mime Jr., and in Galar, Mime Jr. will evolve into Galarian Mr. Mime.
Then we have Cubchoo and its evolved form Beartic, it has a good Physical movepool of Icicle Crash, Aqua Jet, and Superpower, and it does get some nice moves like Liquidation, Brick Break, and Rock Slide. While Beartic does have a high Attack stat, the rest of its stats are kind of average, and it is outclassed by Weavile and Mamoswine as a Physical Ice-type attacker.
You can also find evolved forms, like Glalie and Vanilluxe, as well as Klang and Rhydon as random encounters, Vanilluxe is really good if you can capture one, and even though I didn't recommend Klink back on Route 3, getting Klang here isn't too bad, as it will have Gear Grind and Shift Gear right away, and it will evolve into Klinklang at Level 49. Downside is its limited movepool, Gear Grind and Wild Charge are its best move options.
The main area of Route 10 has some very rare encounters, and starting things off is the Steel/Dragon-type Duraludon, which is my favourite Gen 8 Pokémon, Steel is one of my favourite types, and to be combined with Dragon, we get this really cool Pokémon. Now onto stats, Duraludon has really good stats all-around, the downside is its low Special Defense, and it can be a good mixed attacker with moves like Dragon Claw and Flash Cannon, and it does get some nice moves like Body Press, Thunderbolt, Rock Slide, and a few others. It is a 1% encounter, so if you get lucky enough, Duraludon will be a great Pokémon to add to your team.
Now onto the version exclusives, and they are a 2% encounter, in Sword, you get Stonjourner, and in Shield, you can find Eiscue. The Rock-type Stonjourner has very high Attack and Defense, but terrible Special stats, and it will have Rock Slide right away. It does get some really good Physical moves, like Heat Crash, Earthquake, and Heavy Slam. When using Stonjourner, you have to be very wary of Special attackers, so it is best to be used against Physical attackers, that way you can make good use of it.
Now onto Eiscue, and it is an Ice-type with an interesting gimmick, it has an Ability called Ice Face, which allows it to block off any Physical moves, but it will change into its Noice Face, which sacrifices its Defenses for extra Speed. When Hail is active, Eiscue can regain its Ice Face. As for moves, Eiscue can learn Ice Punch and Liquidation for good Physical moves. I have heard that Eiscue is really good in competitive battling in Hail teams, because if you give it Belly Drum and Icicle Crash, it can sweep entire teams thanks to its Ice Face being able to block off any Physical attacks, the downside is that Icicle Crash and Belly Drum are moves Eiscue can only get through breeding. As for recommendations, I wouldn't waste too much time, but I would say that Stonjourner is the better out of the two, even though Eiscue does have an interesting gimmick, but there are better options.
I do find it strange that Galar does not have a Victory Road, and that there is no Elite Four, as the Champion Cup has replaced all of it, but at least we go through a big tournament, which will give us a chance to challenge Leon to a battle.
