The moment has finally arrived, it is time to challenge Leon, the Champion of Galar, in a huge battle. Leon has never lost a single battle since becoming Champion, and he has some very powerful Pokémon, including his Charizard, will I be able to end Leon's winning streak?

As for the rest of the description, I recommend watching the full video before reading past this point of the description

It is finally time to challenge Leon, Galar's unbeatable Champion, and Hop's brother, in a battle that will decide it all. His team consists of some of the most powerful Pokémon available in the game, and he even has the starter that neither you or Hop picked. I will go over Leon's team, starting with the team he has if you picked Sobble.
Aegislash: King's Shield, Shadow Ball, Sacred Sword, Flash Cannon
Dragapult: Shadow Ball, Flamethrower, Thunderbolt, Dragon Breath
Haxorus: Poison Jab, Iron Tail, Outrage, Earthquake
Rhyperior: Earthquake, Stone Edge, Megahorn, Heat Crash
Rillaboom: Drum Beating, Knock Off, High Horsepower, Endeavor
Charizard: Fire Blast, Air Slash, Solar Beam, Ancient Power

Leon is no joke, his lowest level Pokémon is at Level 62, and his Charizard is at Level 65, so that is a huge jump, as Chairman Rose's highest level Pokémon was at Level 57, and Eternatus was at Level 60. His team has very good coverage moves, some of which can get past their weaknesses, even though Aegislash did get a 10 point nerf from 150 to 140 in both stats, it's still a very powerful threat. Haxorus is not to be underestimated, not only does Outrage hurt, but it can cover its weaknesses with Iron Tail and Poison Jab, and his Dragapult is a fearsome foe, this is the Pseudo-Legendary of Gen 8, with a very high Speed stat and great offensive stats, but I do find Dragon Breath to be questionable, because I don't know why he doesn't have Dragon Pulse, or even Draco Meteor on it.
I will go over the two Pokémon he has if you picked Sobble, you should be able to easily take down Rhyperior in one Snipe Shot, and you will need a good Fire-type to take on Rillaboom. The two Pokémon depend on the starter you picked, I will go over which two Pokémon he has if you picked Scorbunny.
Mr. Rime: Teeter Dance, Psychic, Freeze-Dry, Thunderbolt
Inteleon: Snipe Shot, Dark Pulse, Mud Shot, Tearful Look

Even though Mr. Rime does have some good Special moves, one Pyro Ball should do the trick, and Inteleon can be a tricky foe due to its high Speed, it has Mud Shot to cover its Electric-type weakness, and Snipe Shot can hurt, and it can use Tearful Look to decrease your offensive stats.
Then I will go over which two Pokémon he would have if you picked Grookey.
Seismitoad: Toxic, Drain Punch, Liquidation, Earthquake
Cinderace: Pyro Ball, Feint, Acrobatics, Quick Attack

Don't know why that Cinderace does not have that good coverage, while Rillaboom and Inteleon had some nice moves, and one Grass-type attack can take out Seismitoad in one hit. I find that Mr. Rime and Inteleon are his hardest two Pokémon to deal with, while Seismitoad and Cinderace are the easiest, if you have a Water-type to take on Cinderace.
Now onto Leon's signature Pokémon, he will Gigantamax his Charizard, and any Fire-type moves it has will turn into G-Max Wildfire, this will continue to deal damage for four turns. It can also use Max Overgrowth for any Water or Rock-types, and Max Airstream to boost its Speed, no wonder why Leon's Charizard is his most famous team member. I would wait until Gigantamax wears off, because then you can safely send in a Water or Rock-type, as it will need a turn to charge up Solar Beam. If you decide to use Eternatus for this, its Dynamax Cannon can inflict double damage to his Gigantamaxed Charizard.
Another thing is the music that plays when fighting Leon, this is one of my favourite songs in Pokémon Sword & Shield, and my favourite Champion battle theme, it is one of the best songs in the game, the fact you go up against Leon, who has never been defeated in battle and has kept the Champion title for a long time. I would say this is one of the hardest Champion battles in any Pokémon game ever, because I felt that X & Y's Champion battle was very easy, and while the final battle in Sun & Moon was a challenge, it didn't feel that hard compared to this game, and Let's Go's Champion battle was underwhelming.
I also like how Leon has some different Pokémon depending on your starter, it's nice for a game to have a final battle have different team members.
I do like the credits of this game, where you get to see a band of Pokémon, which consists of two Toxtricity, both Amped and Low-Key form, Rillaboom, and Obstagoon. I believe they are called the Maximizers, and they are a popular band in Galar, I do think this is a good game, and I will be doing the after-game.
To those wondering when I will eventually upload Sword & Shield online battles, it will not be until I have completed the after-game.
