It is time to challenge Leon to a battle for the Championship title, but we get a shocking announcement from Chairman Rose about the Darkest Day. We head back to Postwick, and see if we can find something in the Slumbering Weald.

As for the rest of the description, I recommend watching the full video before reading past this point of the description

That was one huge shock, the fact that the chairman would interfere with a Championship battle just to tell us about a disaster happening in Hammerlocke. I go with Hop to Slumbering Weald, which was where we met that mysterious Pokémon, and we learn the identity of those two Pokémon.
Slumbering Weald does have some cool items, like a Life Orb and a TM for Phantom Force, and you can find some Pokémon like Galarian Weezing, Orbeetle, and Corviknight, but there is one Pokémon that was previous accessible in the Wild Area, but you can find one here, it is Munna. The nice thing about Munna is that it can use Psychic and Moonblast, and can be evolved into Musharna with a Moon Stone, otherwise it is outclassed, and chances are you would have a full team at that point, so unless you caught a Munna back in the Wild Area and evolved it into Musharna around that point, it would be worth considering, as Musharna does have really high HP and good Special Attack, but is unfortunately on the slow side.
After encountering Zacian and Zamazenta, we encounter both instead of just one depending on the version, it is time to head to Hammerlocke, where disaster awaits, and Chairman Rose is at the Energy Plant, and he is planning to awaken a very powerful Pokémon named Eternatus, this is the first game that isn't a side version where the other Legendary Pokémon plays a role in the story, as Giratina, Kyurem, and Necrozma were in extra versions, this is the main Gen 8 games. I will go over the chairman's team, and his theme song has some ominous Latin vocals, which is very fitting for what Rose has caused.
Escavalier: Drill Run, Iron Head, Megahorn, Swords Dance
Ferrothorn: Gyro Ball, Power Whip, Body Press, Curse
Perrserker: Iron Head, Screech, Shadow Claw, Throat Chop
Klinklang: Gear Grind, Shift Gear, Wild Charge, Assurance
Copperajah: Heavy Slam, Iron Head, High Horsepower, Zen Headbutt

All of Rose's Pokémon are Steel-type Pokémon, he is really easy if you have a Fire-type, otherwise you are in for a tough time, his Escavalier can set up Swords Dance in order to deal heavy damage, Ferrothorn has Curse to not only wall your Physical moves, but to make Gyro Ball hit harder, Perrserker has Screech to harshly lower your Defense in order to hit hard with Iron Head, and Klinklang can use Shift Gear, allowing it to go faster and inflict massive damage. Rose will Gigantamax his Copperajah, and its Steel-type moves become G-Max Steelsurge, which will scatter sharp spikes around the opposing side, so this is a Steel-type version of Stealth Rock, so any Pokémon weak to Steel-type moves will take a lot of damage from switching in, and I have heard that Gigantamax Copperajah is really good in competitive battling because of G-Max Steelsurge.
Now that the chairman is out of the way, we can find Leon trying to hold Eternatus back, this is a very powerful threat with high Speed and Special Attack, and it is a Poison/Dragon-type. It will have the move Dynamax Cannon, a 100 power Special Dragon-type move, you cannot catch Eternatus in that phase.
On the next phase, Eternatus will enter a form known as Eternamax, which is more powerful than even Gigantamax, and you will team up with Hop in that battle, and you cannot damage it. Then Zacian and Zamazenta show up and assist us with defeating Eternatus. Zacian's signature move is Behemoth Blade, and Zamazenta has Behemoth Bash, and they deal double damage if used against a Dynamaxed opponent. Now to go over Eternatus's stats in its Eternamax Form, it has a base stat total of 1125, which is higher than Ultra Necrozma, Mega Rayquaza, Mega Mewtwo X & Y, and even Arceus. It has 255 HP, Defense, and Special Defense, so it has the HP of Blissey combined with Defenses higher than Shuckle. This is a tough fight, but at least Zamazenta and Zacian's signature moves can help get Eternatus's health down, and after beating it, you can capture it, and you can use whichever ball you want, as it is a guaranteed capture.
Then to go over Eternatus, if you don't mind using Legendary Pokémon, it is a great Pokémon to bring along to the match with Leon, because its Dynamax Cannon can deal double damage to his Charizard, which Leon will likely Gigantamax. It will have Flamethrower when caught, and you can teach it Sludge Bomb or Sludge Wave for a good Special Poison-type move. While its movepool isn't wide, Sludge Wave, Flamethrower, and Dynamax Cannon are all you will need on Eternatus, it's also great in Max Raid Battles. You cannot use its Eternamax Form, otherwise it would make the game unfair due to its unbalanced HP and Defenses.
