Without any Local Pokemon tournaments like League Cups and League Challenges, getting a Pokemon World Championship Invite is almost not possible for many players.
The tournaments are getting bigger and bigger but the prize support stayed the same. 30CP for getting Day 2 at a 1500 player tournament is almost laughable. Also Worlds 2023 will be held in Japan, which is really expensive for many players. Currently only 40+ players have a Worlds invite. Will Pokemon TCG Worlds 2023 be the smallest Worlds to date in the modern era? Well let's talk about it in this video!
