Welcome back, Pokémon Trainers! It's time again for a weekly news update video!

- Once again, I've got some more Pokémon TCG booster packs to open up! This week will be the two most recent expansions, BREAKthrough and BREAKpoint, with the code cards (as always) going out to some lucky viewers. I'll open up the boosters near the end of the video, and give you viewers the Question of the Day for you to respond to. Leave your response in a comment down below using the hashtag #QOTD, and you'll be entered into the running to receive one of the code cards (chosen randomly) when I do the drawing this coming Sunday, April 10th.

- In Pokémon Shuffle, a whole batch of Special Stages are on the go right now. Running until Tuesday, April 12th, both Kyogre and Zygarde's 10% forme are available, along with another Pokémon Safari. In a Safari, you're limited to just 3 Pokémon on your team, but you don't know which Pokémon you'll be facing until you go into battle! Poison-type team members are recommended, however, as the majority of the available Pokémon are either Fairy or Grass. Those Pokémon are Cleffa, Clefairy, Clefable, Deerling (Spring) and Sawsbuck (Spring). A special Pikachu (Angry) is also hidden away in this Safari, so keep your eyes peeled.

- Also in Pokémon Shuffle's Special Stages, both Tepig and Pignite will be available until Tuesday, April 19th.

- The #Pokemon20 year-long celebration continues into the month of April, with Jirachi being the Mythical Pokémon in the spotlight! From now until April 24th, you can connect any of your Gen 6 games to the Internet to download to your own game your very own Jirachi through the Mystery Gift option on the main menu. Also now available is the TCG Mythical Pokémon Collection: Jirachi, which comes with a foil promo card of Jirachi, two Generations booster packs, a Jirachi collector's pin, and a code card to unlock the cards (and special Jirachi card sleeves) in Pokémon TCG Online. Still more Jirachi collectibles can be picked up at Toys 'R' Us, which will have exclusive Jirachi plushes and figures for sale in store.

- The next Pokémon Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire Online Competiiton has been announced, called the Flash Clash. This competition is all about speed - from your team of six, you have 30 seconds to select only ONE Pokémon to enter battle, each turn limits you to 10 secons to select a move, and the overall battle times out at 5 minutes. Pokémon transferred through the generations via the Pokémon Transporter will not be permitted entry, nor with certain Legendary or Mythical Pokémon. The holding of Soul Dew, Mega Stones, and Focus Sash is also prohibited. Click the link below to get full details on this competition, the registration period for which begins on Thursday, April 21st, with the competition period beginning on Friday, April 29th.

- Pokémon TCG Online has been updated with a few new features, one of which has to do with code cards obtained from Prerelease events. Originally, code cards have only been redeemable once the expansion the code card comes from officially goes on sale, meaning players who attend Prerelease events had to wait a couple of weeks to unlock their online boosters. But now, Pokémon TCG Online is allowing for Prerelease code cards to be redeemed the very day of the Prerelease itself! However, the packs themselves will be locked and unable to open until the sale date of the expansion, but at least this allows players to redeem the codes immediately and not run the risk of losing the codes before the expansion's release date. This also means that, when it comes time for me to present my video coverage of the Fates Collide Prerelease at my local Pokémon League at Heroes' Beacon, I'll be asking a Question of the Day in that video (tentatively scheduled to upload on April 27th), and giving the Fates Collide codes out that very week!

- Pokemon.com has revealed the English translations of the first three Fates Collide cards, namely Alakazam-EX, Mega Alakazam-EX, and Zygarde (10%). Let's take a moment to look over these new cards, and discuss some brief strategy concepts with them.
