New Pokémon GO Information! + Pokémon Shuffle Gets a Massive Update!
Welcome back, Pokémon Trainers! It's time again for a weekly news update video!
- Once again, I've got another Pokémon TCG booster pack to open up! This week is Ancient Origins, with the code card (as always) going out to one lucky viewer. I'll open up the booster near the end of the video, and give you viewers the Question of the Day for you to respond to. Leave your response in a comment down below using the hashtag #QOTD, and you'll be entered into the running to receive the code card (chosen randomly) when I do the drawing this coming Sunday, April 3rd.
- A big update has come to Pokémon Shuffle on 3DS! Several new items have been added, such as the Exp. Booster, Level Up, and Raise Max Level. Survive Mode has also been added, in which you take on a string of stages on a limited number of moves and just your four initial support Pokémon selected (no switching between rounds!). Other new features have been added as well, and the next time you log in, you'll be given a free gift of 3,000 coins as well as a complimentary Raise Max Level item!
- New information on Pokémon GO has been revealed! In addition to all the information we've already been given, we now know that your own personal Trainer level will increase with the more Pokémon you capture. The higher your level, the stronger the Pokémon you'll be able to capture, as well as the better quality of items you'll be able to obtain. You can obtain these items from special locations called PokéStops (corresponding with real-world points of interest in your area), and you may also find a Pokémon egg at these PokéStops, as well! Along with PokéStops, Pokémon Gyms will be located at points of interest as well. You can leave one of your Pokémon in a Gym that you're affiliated with to defend it from challengers, but you can also take on rival Gyms with your own Pokémon and attempt to conquer it for yourself! A field test for Pokémon GO will be conducted in Japan at some point during production, bringing this new Android and iPhone app that much closer to completion for us all to enjoy!
