Here are the Pokémon selected for this match, I am using Eldegoss in this match, so I decided to test out a Support style Pokémon, they don't tend to be best at fighting, as their role is to support teammates, I will go over the other players in this match.
Despise94 - Venusaur
sinchan - Greninja
speedy44 - Machamp
yuval2013 - Charizard

The opponent's team of Pokémon
EspadaTen - Blissey
SkyeAlice - Alolan Ninetales
Jakeplayspkm - Cinderace
Ryanochin - Venusaur
pagtoarrrr - Greninja

As you have noticed, Blissey was included in an update, it is a Support style Pokémon, and unfortunately, it got datamined two weeks before release, I hate it when games get datamined before a new character comes out. The Pokémon Presents did reveal some news on Pokémon UNITE, it will be released on Mobile Devices in September 22nd, and it revealed that Mamoswine and Sylveon will be coming soon to the game, still no news about Blastoise being playable.
There was an update where some Pokémon got buffs and nerfs, the following Pokémon that got buffs were Crustle and Garchomp, while Snorlax received a nerf, Slowbro and Greninja received both, and some Pokémon received bug fixes, like Wigglytuff, Gardevoir, Cramorant, Cinderace, and Alolan Ninetales, and for Battle Items, Eject Button was nerfed, while the Goal Getter, X Attack, and Fluffy Tail got buffed, and you can now check the Aeos Coin limit after a match ends.
That is a lot of information, now to go over Eldegoss, it is a Novice, Ranged, and Support character that uses Special moves, it starts matches as Gossifleur, and its basic attack becomes a boosted attack every third attack, and it leaves cotton on the opposing Pokémon, and when you attack, the damage will be increased and movement speed of the target will be reduced.
For Gossifleur's starting moves, I recommend Leafage, it pelts the target with leaves, decreasing movement speed of opposing Pokémon for a short time, and Synthesis will heal the HP of Gossifleur and any nearby ally Pokémon.
When Gossifleur reaches Level 4, it will evolve into Eldegoss, and it will learn Pollen Puff or Leaf Tornado in place of Leafage. Pollen Puff attaches to a Pokémon, it heals ally Pokémon and damages opposing Pokémon, and Leaf Tornado is a ranged move that increases the movement speed of ally Pokémon for a short while.
At Level 6, Eldegoss will learn Cotton Guard or Cotton Spore, those replace Synthesis. Cotton Guard protects Eldegoss and any nearby ally Pokémon with cotton, it reduces damage from opposing Pokémon, and when it wears off, it restores HP. Cotton Spore has Eldegoss cover itself with spores, which increase its movement speed, and after a short while, the spores explode, causing damage to opposing Pokémon and reducing their movement speed.
Eldegoss's Unite Move is Cotton Cloud Crash, it is learned at Level 9, Eldegoss floats in the air and becomes invincible, and if used again, it will pound the ground, shoving opposing Pokémon and restoring the HP of any ally Pokémon in its area of effect.
At Level 11, Pollen Puff or Leaf Tornado will be upgraded, Pollen Puff, in addition, deals more damage to opposing Pokémon over time and ally Pokémon receive less damage, and Leaf Tornado decreases the accuracy of opposing Pokémon when this move hits.
At Level 13, Cotton Guard or Cotton Spore will be upgraded, Cotton Guard increases Eldegoss's movement speed when used, and Cotton Spore throws opposing Pokémon when the move hits.
Eldegoss's Ability is Cotton Down, when Eldegoss receives a certain amount of damage, it damages opposing Pokémon and decreases their movement speed for a short time, and when it happens, Eldegoss recovers some HP and its movement speed increases for a short time.
For items, Eldegoss is best used with the Eject Button for its Battle Item, and for Held Items, it can make use of the Rocky Helmet, Exp. Share, Buddy Barrier, Wise Glasses, and Shell Bell. For a support set, the best moves for Eldegoss are Pollen Puff and Cotton Guard, as those can help with its role as a supporter. If you want to use Eldegoss for offense, Leaf Tornado and Cotton Spore are the moves to go for, Eldegoss works better in the Top and Bottom Lanes, because with Pollen Puff and Cotton Guard, it can support its teammates in fighting Rotom on the Top Lane or Drednaw on the Bottom Lane.
In terms of stats, Eldegoss has very good Support, it doesn't have the best Offense or Endurance, so it is all about supporting teammates in healing and increasing movement speed, while Support style Pokémon don't tend to be my preferred type of character, it was at least good that I get to use Eldegoss for this match.
