Here are the Pokémon selected in this match, I am using Slowbro in this one, so I decided to test out a Defender character, and this one is done on Quick Battle, and the stage picked is Auroma Park.
yohsi - Gengar
mfpfpr - Lucario

The opponent's team of Pokémon
Zane - Venusaur
Nephikun - Eldegoss
jumpig - Machamp

As this is a Quick Battle, I will explain about Auroma Park, 3-on-3 matches happen there, and you can find Pokémon like Ledyba, Sunkern, and Venomoth there, Ledyba and Sunkern provide 2 points, Venomoth give 5 points, and there are a bunch of conveyor belts you can use to move through the map faster. At most parts of the map with the circle conveyor belts, Araquanid can be found there, and when fighting it, Dewpider can spawn, and when you defeat Araquanid, you get 15 points.
After 2 minutes, Regigigas will appear on the middle of the map, and this is a tough opponent, but if you can defeat Regigigas, you can get 50 points, and in most parts of the match, goals can be scored for double points. Abra can be found on the map, and it will teleport away a few seconds after approaching it, and they give 20 points when defeated, and on the final minute, Sunkern and Ledyba will respectively evolve into Sunflora and Ledian.
That is Auroma Park explained, now to go over Slowbro, it is Intermediate, Ranged, and Defender, and it uses Special moves, it starts matches as Slowpoke. Defender characters have very good Endurance, but don't have the best Offense or Mobility, Slowbro is one of three Defender characters currently in the game, the other two being Snorlax and Crustle.
When starting out, I recommend Water Gun so that Slowpoke has a way to attack, and for its basic attack, it is a boosted attack on the third hit, and the boosted attack decreases Special Defense for a short time.
For Slowpoke's starting moves, Water Gun can be charged to extend its area of effect and increase the damage, and it decreases the target's movement speed for a short time. Slack Off restores Slowpoke's HP gradually, and if Slowpoke is damaged during the time, the amount of HP increased reduces.
Slowpoke will evolve into Slowbro at Level 4, and it will learn its first move, Scald or Surf replace Water Gun. Scald has a chance of burning the target and it reduces their movement speed, and Surf has Slowbro charging at the target, the wave deals damage to opposing Pokémon and throws them back.
At Level 6, Slack Off will be replaced by Amnesia or Telekinesis, Amnesia reduces damage to weak attacks, and it increases Slowbro's Defense and increases the damage of Scald or Surf after use. Telekinesis makes opposing Pokémon float with psychic power, and when used again, it pulls the opposing Pokémon towards Slowbro.
At Level 9, Slowbro learns its Unite Move, Slowbeam binds the opposing Pokémon and deals damage, and it makes Slowbro unstoppable while using that move.
At Level 11 is when Scald or Surf are upgraded, Scald has an increased area of effect, and Surf has the second and third wave become larger and also throw opposing Pokémon like the first wave.
At Level 13, Amnesia or Telekinesis are upgraded, Amnesia increases Special Attack, and Telekinesis has increased firing speed and range.
Slowbro's Ability is Oblivious, when it receives damage, the HP loss is gradual, and when damaging an opponent, it will nullify some of the gradual HP loss it has yet to receive, and it decreases the target's Special Defense.
Slowbro has some good ranged and support skills, but it is not much of a damage dealer, as it is a Defender, some good items to give it are the Rocky Helmet and Assault Vest to improve its role as a tank, and you can give it the Buddy Barrier, which gives the nearest ally a shield equal to 20% of their maximum HP if Slowbro uses a Unite Move. The recommend moves for Slowbro are Scald and Amnesia, or you could go with Surf instead of Scald if you want, and Amnesia is there to boost the power of Scald or Surf when they are next used, and its Unite Move can be good for holding the opposing Pokémon in place so you have teammates defeat them.
